GOOD WILL GESTURES
ERIC REED - U.S. Team Pilot
MATT BEECHINOR - U.S. Team Pilot
I would not be on this team if it weren't for all the great people in this sport that mentored me and offered up little jewels of advice that would otherwise take a lifetime to learn on my own. There are too many people to list here, you know who you are, thank you! I aspire to be a good mentor to other pilots so if you have a question or just need some help please don't hesitate to ask, I am eager to pass on the knowledge. Canadian team member, Keith MacCullough and I, will be putting on a league-meet/mentoring-competition in Golden BC in August, 2009, dates TBA. I hope to see you there. I can't express to you how grateful I am going to this contest with the thought that the majority of my expenses will be covered by the geneosity of the U. S. Paragliding Community. Thank you!
BRAD GUNNUSCIO - U.S. Team Pilot
In conjuction with Cloud 9 Paragliding, I will be giving a one day thermal clininc. Also, if any donor ever needs GPS help or pre-flight strategy advice, I will be more than happy to spend some time with you as a token of appreciation for the gift that you have given us!!
PS: Chances are pretty good that even if you did not donate, I, or any member of the U. S. Team, will be there for you if you need some help because "that's the way we roll"
JOSH COHN - Aspiring U.S. Team Pilot
Here is something I've been thinking about, and Jug said something like, "sounds good, go for it!":
Therefore, I'll work to set up a mentoring program at the Northern California XC League this season.
Josh says: "It is hard for me to express in words how grateful I am, or shall I say, we are, for all the generosity that has been shown to us. We will do our best to represent our country and make you proud!!!
KARI CASTLE - U.S. Team Pilot
I would like to offer a ongoing promise to any of the official donors and people that wish they could afford to donate, by helping them on their flying journey in one way or another. When our paths cross I will share what insight, experience and expertise I have to offer in hopes that it helps in some way. I wish I could gather all of the donors at once to thank them personally and let them all know how much I and we as the US PG Team appreciate your support. The times are tough right now with people loosing their jobs, their homes and their lifestyle as they knew it. I am grateful to have this opportunity to be part of this amazing team going to Valle doing what we love with the support of so many generous people out there. Thank you!!!
U. S. Team Leader: ROB SPORRER
U. S. Team Leader: JEFF HUEY
Jeff has volunteered to do a clinic next spring and a league meet style casual comp at their fly-in next year.
Jeff says "Thank you very much to the Desert Air Riders and all those that have been a part of this incredible experience. I am looking forward to helping our team any way I can!!!"
